Well, html is probably a good place to start with this post. This summer, I'm doing a coding program that involves 16 hours per week of training in html, css, and java. by the end of the summer, I will have spent 144 (what a wonderful number) hours learning code and how to apply it. And I am very much looking forward to that.
This summer, I will be riding my bike to that coding course every morning, because we sold Tammy. Tammy was Jens's 1996 toyota camry for about 5 or 7 months, and then he left on a mission. Dad sold Uncle Gordon's red truck (rip red truck. we love you forever) and I adopted Tammy and learned to drive stick, all very abruptly. I loved Tammy. Ugh, tammy was a car with a lot of character. I definitely miss that. she sure didn't start all the time, and she sure didn't idle very well, but she taught me stick and that's a great skill.
hey though, I am looking forward to living more by the phrase "use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without." Not directly applicable to a car, but my thinking. (the other reason that we got rid of Tammy: I finally made a cool spreadsheet to track my money and immediately could no longer stand the price of insurance and gas.) Also in line with this phrase: I have been altering clothes to fit me better. That is a dang nice feeling.
GRADUATION
once upon a time, I graduated yesterday. It wasn't surreal, as Mica Mckee asked. Just felt normal. In fact, it also made me finally feel better about actually graduating. I was in love with high school, and didn't want to miss it. For me, it took actually graduating to be ok with my upcoming commencement. and as much as I'm thrilled that I loved high school, I'm (fiinally) looking forward to moving on.
Anyway, go team. Keep up the good work
